Most people who need regular chiropractic care stop coming, not because it isn't helping, but because the cost adds up. SpinePass was built to fix that.
A different kind of clinic in Toowong
SpinePass is Toowong's only chiropractic membership clinic. Instead of paying per visit, you pay a single monthly fee that covers all your clinically guided adjustments for that month. Whether you're in two or three times a week early in your care, or coming in for regular maintenance, your membership covers it.
The clinic is run by Ryan Wagner, a registered chiropractor with clinical experience across Australia, Germany and the Turks & Caicos Islands. Ryan holds a Master of Clinical Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Science in Chiropractic and is a member of the Australian Chiropractors Association.
The clinic sits in Suite 2A at 35 Woodstock Road, a quiet professional suite in central Toowong that is easy to reach from Indooroopilly, St Lucia, Auchenflower, Milton and Paddington. For membership, pricing and online booking, start at the SpinePass Chiropractic home page.
Chiropractic care in Toowong
The inner west of Brisbane is a mix of professionals, families, students and active people, and the demands they place on their bodies are just as varied. Desk workers sit for long stretches. Parents carry kids and groceries. Athletes at local clubs train hard. Students hunch over laptops.
What most of them share is that spinal issues are best managed with care that follows a proper plan rather than ad hoc one-off visits, and the traditional per-visit model makes following a plan expensive fast.
Every member starts with a thorough initial assessment. From there, we build a documented care plan tailored to your presentation, and track your progress at structured review points, including a postural comparison, so you can see how your spine is responding over time.
What people come in with
Most people who walk into the clinic in Toowong arrive with one of a handful of things. If you recognise yours here, it is worth having assessed.
Lower back pain
Sore after a day at a desk, stiff first thing in the morning, or grumbling since you bent to pick something up. More on lower back pain.
Neck pain and stiffness
An ache between the neck and shoulder that builds through the afternoon, or a neck that will not turn as far one way as the other. More on neck pain.
Headaches that start in the neck
Headache that begins at the base of the skull and builds through a long stretch at a desk, usually alongside a neck that already feels restricted. More on headaches.
Leg pain, numbness or pins and needles
Pain travelling into the buttock or down the leg, the kind most people call sciatica. Where it reaches, and whether it passes the knee, changes the assessment.
Mid back and shoulder tension
Tightness between the shoulder blades that comes back every week, and plenty of shoulder pain that turns out to be coming from the neck.
Posture you have started noticing
The rounding at the base of the neck, or how you look side on in a photograph. More on the neck hump.
These are musculoskeletal presentations, and an assessment is what establishes whether chiropractic care is appropriate for yours. If it is not, we will say so and point you in a more useful direction.
Who comes to SpinePass
Desk workers and professionals
Prolonged sitting and screen use increase the load on the neck and lower back. Regular care supports spinal function and posture awareness.
Active people and athletes
From club sport to gym training, chiropractic assessment can be part of a proactive approach to keeping you moving well.
Families
Individual, partner, child and family memberships make it easier for the whole household to prioritise spinal health.
People with ongoing complaints
If you have ongoing neck or back discomfort, a structured, documented care plan provides a clear framework to track what is happening over time.
How the membership works
Book your first visit
Your initial consultation is a standalone appointment. We take a full history, complete a postural and spinal assessment, and discuss whether SpinePass is the right fit for you. No pressure to sign up on the day.
Start your care plan
Most new members begin with a more frequent phase of care, with visits spacing out as you progress. We'll explain the recommended length and visit frequency at your first appointment based on your clinical picture.
Review and transition to maintenance
At set points in your plan, we complete formal progress reviews including postural reassessment. As your care progresses, most members move to a lower-frequency maintenance schedule.
Claim through your private health fund
SpinePass is HICAPS-enabled. We process up to two eligible consultations per month through your health fund at the terminal, and the rebate is applied as a credit against your next membership payment. Have a GP or DVA referral? See bulk billed chiropractic.

Common questions
Do I have to commit to a long-term contract?
No. SpinePass memberships are month to month. You can cancel at any time with 14 days' written notice, and there is no exit fee. A 7-day cooling-off period also applies from signup. Full terms are set out in the Membership Agreement you receive before you sign.
Can I use my private health insurance?
Yes. SpinePass is HICAPS-enabled, so you can claim chiropractic rebates at the clinic terminal. We process up to two consultations per month through your health fund, and the rebate is credited against your next membership payment. If you have a GP referral under a Medicare chronic condition management plan or a DVA card, see bulk billed chiropractic.
How many visits can I have per month?
Your membership covers the appointments clinically recommended under your current care plan. Visit frequency is set by your chiropractor based on your clinical presentation and reviewed at formal progress points.
What happens at the first visit?
A full initial consultation: health history, postural and spinal assessment, and a conversation about your goals and what to expect. If care is appropriate, we'll outline a recommended plan. You're not required to start a membership on the day.
Do you see children?
Yes. There is a child membership ($99/month) and family memberships from $370/month. Parental consent is required for all patients under 18.
Is SpinePass right for my condition?
The best way to find out is to book a first visit. We'll complete a thorough assessment and give you an honest view of whether chiropractic care is appropriate for your situation, and refer you elsewhere if it isn't.
Ready to get started?
A full assessment, a documented care plan, and a clear picture of where your spine is at. No obligation to continue.
